Sri Lanka (Ceylon), India, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, and the U.S.
Chatoyancy, appearing in these varieties of quartz, is caused by fibrous inclusions of crocidolite. Blue-rey or bluish in appearance.
Crocidolite is not enhanced.
