First discovered in Danbury Connecticut, and named after that location, danburite is also found in Myanmar (Burma), Japan, Malagasy Republic, Mexico and Connecticut (USA).

Transparent, found in colorless, yellow and pink.

Danburite is not known to be enhanced.
